Clergy Thought The 4th Sunday of Lent, also called Laetare Sunday, invites us to reflect on God’s mercy, faithfulness, and the new beginnings He offers us. The Church encourages us to: “Rejoice and be joyful,” because Christ is willing to reconcile us to his Father. The readings for Year C, take us through the stories of the Israelites’ first Passover in the Promised Land, the parable of the Prodigal Son, and Paul’s teaching on becoming a new creation in Christ. We learn about God’s constant care and call to reconciliation. These readings remind us of the importance of gratitude, forgiveness, and embracing a renewed life in Christ. May we, like the prodigal son, return to the Lord, for a second chance, through the sacrament of reconciliation, for he loves us unconditionally, and sacrificed his son for us. Amen. Fr Alex

The main church of our parish is St Henry Morse in Diss which was built in 2012 replacing the Church of The Most Holy Trinity on Stanley Road dating from 1952.

Included in the parish is the Carmel of Quidenham; it has its own website at https://quidenhamcarmel.org.uk .
