The Week from Saturday 17th May 2025
Clergy Thought: On this fifth Sunday of Easter, we continue glorifying the risen Christ. In today’s first reading, Paul encourages us to remain faithful in our missions as disciples of Jesus Christ. The faithfulness of this mission may lead us to experience some hardships. However, Christ gives us a new commandment of love, in the Gospel which will help us to overcome this world with all its challenges and march us into the New Jerusalem, through his example. This love marks the newness of life that Christ brings to all his people this Easter season. Only those who love sincerely in the midst of challenges of our time will enter the New Jerusalem through our risen Christ. Amen. Fr Alex
